Table of Contents

Blackjack is the classic casino card game against an automated dealer. The goal is to reach a hand value as close to 21 as possible without exceeding it. Face cards count as 10, Aces as 1 or 11. The dealer draws until reaching at least 17.

Controls

  • Encoder knob / Left / Right buttons: Navigate between Hit and Stand options.
  • Select button: Confirm the chosen action.

Gameplay

At the start of each round two cards are dealt to the player and two to the dealer, with one dealer card face-down. The player can:

  • Hit — draw another card
  • Stand — end their turn and let the dealer play

The dealer then reveals the hidden card and draws until reaching 17 or higher. The higher hand without busting wins. A high score is saved persistently.
